Booking policy
These are the current terms for deposits, arrival times, cancellations, weather, card on file holds, damage responsibility, and safety requirements. Call or text 615.998.9888 if you want anything explained before you book.
Reservation deposit
A $100 deposit plus tax holds your time slot. Your reservation is not confirmed until the deposit invoice is paid.
Invoice payment deadline
Deposit invoices must be paid within 24 hours of being sent. Unpaid invoices auto-cancel and the time slot is released.
Arrival time
Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled time. That gives us time for waivers, life jacket fitting, the safety orientation, and getting the ski in the water.
PWC orientation must be completed before arriving
Every operator must complete the free PWC safety orientation before arriving at Shutes Branch.
Watch the 14-minute RentalBoatSafety.com personal watercraft video, take the short quiz, and save or screenshot your completion.
Text it to 615-998-9888 or email NashvilleJetskiRental@gmail.com ahead of time, or show it at check-in.
Late arrivals and no-shows
Departures happen at the scheduled time. Late arrivals and no-shows are not refunded and the ride does not get extended.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Cancellations and reschedules require at least 24 hours notice by phone call to 615-998-9888.
Less than 24 hours notice results in the loss of your deposit with no refund and no reschedule.
Same-day reservations are final sale
Same-day reservations are final sale. By booking same day you acknowledge there are no refunds, no cancellations, and no reschedules.
Complaints must be reported on-site in real time
Any concerns or complaints must be reported to staff while on-site, in real time. Concerns raised after the experience is completed cannot be addressed.
Weather before departure
If weather affects your ride before it begins, we will reach out by call, text, or email and offer a reschedule.
A full refund is only available if you cannot make another date and the weather issue happens before your ride starts.
For small passing showers we may wait roughly 15 minutes and head out once it clears.
Decisions are based on conditions in our local area. Rain elsewhere or cloudy skies alone do not qualify for cancellation.
Weather after departure is not refundable
Once the ride has started, it continues regardless of changing weather. No refunds, no cancellations, and no reschedules are offered for weather that develops after departure.
Card on file
A pre-authorization on a major credit card is required for all rentals.
The card on file covers potential damages, excessive cleaning, lost equipment, and violations of rental rules.
Damage, loss, cleaning, and additional charges
Any damage to the ski, trailer, or included equipment may be charged to the card on file based on the extent of the damage, including parts, labor, and lost rental income while the ski is out of service.
Lost or missing equipment (life jackets, safety whistle, key, lanyard, sunglasses, neoprene shorts) will be charged at replacement cost.
Excessive cleaning (fuel spills, vomit, mud, trash left on board) will be billed at the cleaning fee on file.
Violations of rental rules, no-wake zones, or TWRA regulations may result in forfeiture of your deposit and additional charges.
If damages exceed the credit card limit, the renter remains responsible for additional repair or replacement costs.
Safety orientation and certificate requirements
All renters complete the PWC safety orientation before launch (see above).
Primary renter must be 21 or older with a valid driver's license. Minimum operator age is 18. Riders must be at least 13.
If a NASBLA-recognized boating safety certificate applies to your situation, send it ahead by text to 615-998-9888 or email to NashvilleJetskiRental@gmail.com.
