  • 01Primary renter must be 21 or older with a valid driver's license.
  • 02Anyone born after January 1, 1989 must show a Tennessee Boating Safety Certificate. The TWRA course is free online; we send the link when you book.
  • 03No drugs or alcohol on board. Operating a personal watercraft under the influence is a Tennessee state offense and forfeits your deposit.
  • 04Minimum operator age is 16 (12 with a licensed adult onboard).
  • 05No towing of tubes, wakeboards, or skiers.

Old Hickory Lake is patrolled by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency. Most rental disputes come down to no-wake violations, so we go over the rules with you on-site before you launch.

  • 01Idle or no-wake speed within 300 feet of shore, docks, and anchored boats.
  • 02All riders under 13 must wear a life jacket at all times.
  • 03Lanyard kill switch must be attached to the operator's wrist or PFD.
  • 04Operate in daylight only. PWC operation after sunset is prohibited in Tennessee.
